Located in Idukki in the Kerala region, Cherukunnel jose is a friendly family homestay set in beautiful farmland. The property has two rooms for rent, both with ensuite bathrooms. They have access to a shared private dining room and large shared balcony/terrace. There’s free private parking and free WiFi. From the property, you can stroll around the wonderful forested farmland, which has cocoa, coffee, nutmeg, pepper, cardamon plants among many others. There are lots of different birds and butterflies. If you’d like to learn Keralan cooking with Lovely, the mum of the house, this is possible too. Ayurvedic massage can be arranged at the property. Homecooked breakfast, lunch or dinner can be arranged (for an extra charge). From the property there are some nice sunrise and sunset hiking options. Nearby attractions include Idukki Dam (18-minute drive), Calvary Mount (20-minute drive), Muniyara Cave (20-minute drive) and Punnayar Waterfalls (35 minute drive). Fishing is possible in the surroundings and the homestay can arrange a car rental service. From Cherukunnel jose Munnar Tea Museum is 48 km. Cochin International Airport is 96 km away.
