Our homestay is ideally located, just 10 minutes from Dal Lake, 15 minutes from Nishant and Shalimar Gardens and a quick 5 minutes from the airport. Close by are small traditional Kashmiri markets. We are happy to help organize your tours with lots of tips on where to go and what to see so you get the most out of your time in Kashmir. Our specialty is Kashmiri culture and cuisine. Having amazing family cooks you will have the opportunity to eat traditional food beautifully balanced with Kashmiri spices. You are welcome to the kitchen to observe or to take cooking lessons and learn some of the secrets of our food preparation and balancing of spices. We welcome questions about our unique culture and are happy to sit for long discussions as your stay with us is not all about the tourist destinations. There is so much more to Kashmir. Our culture is important to us and we believe that understanding brings about great friendships and tolerance of our differences. Most of your stay with us will leave you with incredible memories of our family and Kashmir.
