The architecture of ‘The Barracks Cochin’ is inspired by many colonial buildings, military outposts and barracks of Cochin. Their quaint gables, barn-like roofs, heavy walls and buttresses, the venerable church all contributed towards the design. The apartment is designed with a great deal of comfort and privacy in mind.The bedrooms were inspired by those in the heritage bungalows built by the European and Jewish traders during the colonial rule with a large four poster beds, a work desk and a dressing area. The living room has a kitchenette with basic utensils and crockery for your daily need. The furniture includes a sofa cum bed, a coffee table and a dining table for two with seating. The breakfast provided is home cooked and traditional Kerala cuisine.
