I’m a travel enthusiast who grew up in this small town of Shimla. After completing my schooling, I decided to pack my bags and move overseas to learn different lessons of life and complete my education. I spent a few years learning the basics of the Hospitality industry and working for some prominent hotels across the world. Finally, the love for home and family brought me back and made me venture into this startup. I enjoy watching sports, playing games and getting lost in these beautiful valleys. The Edgeworth, a premium B&B, is a picturesque chalet nestled in the heart of Shimla. The chalet is ideally situated in Jakhoo Hills amidst lush green deodar trees. Our property is within proximity to everything that the city has to offer. The building showcases marvellous British architectural designs from the 19th century. Edgeworth is a unique blend of historical designs and modern comfort. The warmth of the wooden structure and the mud-plastered walls will surely take you back in time. While the spacious rooms will ensure that you can relax, enjoy and unwind. You can enjoy the view of the Shimla hills through the lawns and the corridors of the property. As the building was built prior to 1901 the rooms do not have windows or views of the mountains. Once you enter the property you reach the corridors which further leads upto the rooms. We at Edgeworth strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible and make you feel at home. We aim to create memorable experiences for our guests. The Space Our rooms are a concoction of elegance, space, comfort and history. We have 3 spacious rooms which are all carpeted to keep you warm during winters. The guest can also relax and unwind in large corridors while having a drink and reading their favourite book. Alternatively, if you prefer you may soak up in the sun and get a nice tan. We also encourage our guests to play a game of badminton on the lawn as long as the weather permits. The location is also ideal for guests who’d like to go for walks and strolls. As the forest road is the ‘go to’ place to stretch out your legs and shake up your body with a few exercises. In addition, we also offer complimentary private parking for all of our guests. Meals Please note that meals are not included in the room tariff. We certainly try to show off our culinary skills at times, however, we only serve fresh home-cooked food. If you crave something fancy, we would be delighted to arrange fancy meals from a close-by restaurant.
