Welcome to 'The Open House,' an artfully designed slow-living retreat that offers the perfect escape into nature, and tries to frame its natural surroundings. Nestled within the 1-acre permaculture landscape of 'Saukhya Farm,' this unique home immerses visitors into the tranquility of a regenerative tropical food forest cultivated by our family. Our passion for nature, native species, and natural farming has flourished as we have developed this land since the lockdown. ‘The Open House’ features three distinct spaces: the main living block and two bedroom blocks, all connected by a central verandah: 1. Central Verandah: A multipurpose open space perfect for guests to gather and spend quality time together. The sunset views from our verandah are a highlight of the property. 2. Living Block: A dynamic living room with a well-stocked bookshelf, comfortable lounge seating for about ten people, and an eight-seater dining table that opens into the kitchen. It also features a very comfortable sofa bed that can sleep two. A dedicated powder area and powder bathroom make this block function as a separate room when/if needed. 3. Master Bedroom: Has a king-size bed, with an additional cot bed available if needed. This room has the most number of artworks put up for display. 4. Loft Bedroom: A double-height bedroom with a queen-size bed and a dedicated sleeping loft for two floor mattresses. An additional cot bed can be added if needed. 5. Bedroom Bathrooms: Our bedrooms have very spacious attached bathrooms with integrated green landscaped pockets.

Hi, I'm Parth - an engineer turned brewer & experimental farmer from Nasik. My wife Asmita (co-host) is an architect & she designed our farmhouse. Along with my parents, we run Saukhya Farm as a family venture. My mom Pradnya overlooks our kitchen & curates all the delicious meals we serve our guests. The one-acre site of Saukhya Farm is nestled in the lush valley of Beze Village, on the outskirts of Nashik. Surrounded by small farms, it offers sweeping views of Beze Dam and surrounding hills. Here's a list of recommendations & things to do/see around us (please google to cross check timings/menu etc.): - Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Mandir: The world famous Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple is located near our property - Gautami Godavari Dam: Walking distance from our farm, it is a serene waterbody (also seen from our property). Great sight seeing location for a morning/evening walk, or sunrise/sunset point. - Trek: Medium-level hike/trek near our property (half a day plan, start early morning). Carry sports shoes if you would like to venture on this hike, and in the monsoon ensure you have raincoats. - Eating out: i. Best Grapes Farm, Kone: Experience an authentic 'farm to table' meal - by Chef Ashish Kamble in the rustic setting of their family orchard. (35 minute drive from Saukhya Farm - along a very scenic route) ii. Cerana Taproom @ Cerenity Castle -Taproom for locally crafted meads, open every Friday-Saturday-Sunday from 4.30pm-10.30pm iii. Grape County Eco Resort & Spa, Nashik: Visit 'The Deck' - restaurant at Grape County for a meal. Call and check for serving timings and a-la-carte availability before you visit. We recommend the local craft beers they have on tap and serve from 'Sona Brewing Co.' iv. APS Dhaba: If you are non vegetarian and want to try local cuisine - try visit the APS Dhaba for 'Mutton Bhakri'. Ask for vegetarian options and timings before visiting. v. Hotel Sanskruti: Authentic Maratha style food in a village like setting. Try their Maharashtrian Thali options (and seasonal Aamrass Puranpoli in June/July), if you want to explore local cuisine. vi.
