Property information

We offer private accommodation inside the warmth and quiet of our home in Borgarnes. Our home is the perfect base camp for exploring Borgarnes and its environs or Snæfellsnes Peninsula; or, take a break from a hectic road trip and reconnect with nature with beautiful mountain views from the living room, spend time relaxing downstairs in our café, or do some soul-searching amid the tranquil and meditative environment upstairs, downstairs, or along the coast, which is just a few steps away. Take advantage of the large window (with blackout blinds) with a beautiful view of the Old Town -- you might even get the chance to see a rainbow. A serene setting with panoramic views conducive to repose. The view from the living room is stunning. The interior is comfortable and cozy. The walls are adorned with artwork, family photos and an eclectic, unique array of artifacts from around the world. All rooms come with bed linens and duvet as well as towels. Please note that this property has a dog on site, just in case if you are allergic.

Neighbourhood information

Our beautiful and cozy café/bar, Kaffi Kyrrð (Café Tranquillity) is on the ground floor where there is also our flower and a gift shop, Blómasetrið (The Flower Center). We share our home with our well-mannered dog, so our rooms are not the best choice for people with dog allergies.
