BrimarsBrú sleep inn-art Gallery is new on the market. Come, dwell and sleep after flight or before flight among mysterious and beautiful paintings of JSBrimar, the great north Icelandic painter who worked and lived in Dalvík and painted over 800 paintings on his live time. 90 years birthday of him is in this year if he had lived. 52 m2 decorated with his paintings is the Gallery size, very special place and is one of his kind. Breathtaking overlook of his legacy and as a start you can look his paintings on his website who is printed on the back of his postcard in the Gallery. Including the price is pack of postcards if you like or a poster in a carton roll. Look in real these Diamonds of Dalvik and get peace of mind and remember these words: Art is where your heart is! "Drop a little diamond in the corner of my kingdom." JSBrimar.
My name is Ragnar Th. Thoroddsson and I am owner of this Gallery. My uncle, the painter, was a very special man and had a lot of influence on me. I was only 17 years old when he died but I can always remember him. I drive the public bus nr.55 between airport and Reykjavík and enjoy my work. I am divorce and I have a two daughters. I do poetry and I have done poetry of many of his paintings. There is a mysterious story's about this painter after he died and if you are interest I can tell you about them. He saved my live two times after his death and my pocket one time, two years ago. The book about him is now for sale in the Gallery both in Icelandic and English, the name of book is JSBrimar and the diamonds of Dalvík.
Well, the whole Iceland is my near be site but very close is the international airport (9 km) and Blue lagoon (16 km) and five minutes drive is very good fish and chips wagon, also two supermarket and other small shops. In 3 minutes drive is the Viking World, museum about the vikings, very interesting. My forefather was a viking, called Ragnar Loðbrók. He was a murderer and a rapist but I am a lot nicer gay. And of course if you sleep inn the art-Gallery your first expression will be when I open the door to shout out these three magic letter word: WOW. You can't help it.
