Here is a peaceful and quiet environment. This is often the starlit and you can see the northern lights. Can provide a personalized service with knowledge of the area.
We are a married couple, both born in the countryside and Þórður born here in this country. Main interests is to breed good sheep and work with it. We have about 100 sheep and 20 Icelandic poultry. Use your free time in the outdoors, travel, crafts and reading stories and information about the area. Likes to tell visitors from the region and provide the care economy. As you can buy products from us, smoked smoked lamb plus more.
it is a natural pool and hot tub within walking distance. the other side of the fjord, you can often see Snæfelsjökull. The community here is small and friendly, and has creative farmers in the area and two fish food companies. During the summer the ferry Baldur comes twice a day and Hotel Flókalundur is open. During the winter you can see the northern lights. for those who want to get in touch and get to know the farmers and their work it is possible to vist them. In the spring lambs are born. in the autumn you can go walking with the farmers to retrieve sheep of the mountains
