Just 25 km from the iconic Blue Lagoon, these cabins come with free high speed Wi-Fi, a furnished terrace and a hot tub. Keflavík International Airport is only 10 km away and the site offers free parking. Each cabin has a well-equipped kitchenette with a dining area. Guests can relax in the lounge with the TV, or outside in the private hot tub. Sandgerdi village is 2 km away and offers a selection of shops and restaurants, and the village’s golf course is 400 metres from the cabins. The dramatic Atlantic coastline of Reykjanes is the setting for Ocean Break Cabins, with many walking routes found in the area. The capital city of Reykjavík is 60 km away, from where guests can also join the Icelandic Route 1 Ring Road.

Katrin is a traveller by heart. In 2008 she started to travel alone around the world and was on the road with her backpack for some years. She has travel to central America, China, Peru, south east Asia and India. Katrin studied Yoga during her stays in India and while in China she practised Martial Art. She has stayed among Kuna Indians in Panama and Shaman in the Amazon Jungle. Her interest for people and culture has brought her to study anthropology and she is curious to understand more about religions, philosophy, cuisines and how people view life. In 2019 Katrin decided to stay in Iceland for some time. She found the need to connect herself to the country where she was born and that same year she bought the Ocean Break Cabins. Now, Katrin welcomes you to her sanctuary within the Reykjanes UNESCO Global Geopark.

Our cosy cottages are located only 10 minutes away from the Keflavik International Airport. The Atlantic coastline is the setting for the cottages so you can expect a nourishing breeze! The hot tub is the perfect place to relax at the end of the day, especially when the northern lights are dancing or the midnight sun is shining. If you want to be surrounded by quiet and peaceful nature then this accommodation will suit you.
