Gian Paolo Migone, historic farmer of Siena with almost 50 years experience, a connoisseur of the territory and its history, opened this facility in 1998, after 10 years of restoration and hard work followed and executed by himself. His experience with tourism dates back to the seventies, when even the word "Farmholidays" did not exist, deciding to take advantage of the wide spaces of the family house, now no longer used. The first visitors from Germany, were groups of art students who drew inspiration from the gentle landscapes of the Siena hills. It has been a pleasure to welcome back some of them decades later, now adults and with their families but with still in the heart the beautiful Tuscany and the hospitality of the family Migone. Today the property is managed with his wife Nadia, a former furniture dealer and antique jewelry, with years of experience in the furniture sector, which is responsible for the care of the interior, and his son Peter, retired basketball player with his land in the heart, always available for guests to make their holiday a lifetime Tuscan experience.

San Donnino is an old farmhouse that has been totally restored to modern standards. It is located in the centre of a striking landscape among the clay hills of the region of Siena, of which the towers can be seen just a few miles away. Historical research tells us that the building was a church from 1000 to 1550, and later lost its original function to be turned into a farm house eventually. It has been restored and subdivided into flats from 2 to 7 beds. The flats are spacious and preserve their original architectural character so typical of Tuscany, with beam ceiling, as well as bricks and floors made of Tuscan burnt clay. San Donnino is equiped with a large kitchen and dining room that can be used by groups. In the garden of estate, a beautiful oval swimming pool is located (16m X 12m), with a fantastic view on the hills of Crete and Siena. Many guests call the whole setting a "corner of paradise." At disposal of the clients a cover parking, a free wi-fi area, mountain-bikes and a little laundry.

The property is located just 15 km south of Siena, in the Crete Senesi region. The central location makes it a perfect base for visiting all the most scenic towns and amenities in the Siena area.
