The beauty of the place, our cordial hospitality make the stay in Poggio Istiano an opportunity to get closer to the countryside and its rhythms, finding images, smells and flavors of the past. It offers guests the pleasure of immersing themselves in an atmosphere of natural hospitality that Graziella and Franco with their daughters have been able to maintain over time.

Agriturismo Poggio Istiano is located on the top of a hill in the middle of the Artistic and Natural Park of Val d’Orcia. The apartments available are spacious, comfortable and welcoming, furnished with antique Tuscan furniture. Among the extra services offered by Agriturismo Poggio Istiano there is mountain bike rental and daily cleaning of the accommodation. In some periods of the year we do not do the breakfast service because besides taking away the guests we also take care of our farm and therefore if we had not booked it we cannot do it but can organize it in the apartment.

In the immediate vicinity Castiglione d'Orcia with its "Piazza il Vecchietta", Rocca d'Orcia with the "Rocca a Tentennano", Pienza city of Pio II, San Quirico d'Orcia with the "Collegiate", Montalcino and Montepulciano with its fine wines and Bagni Vignoni, Bagni San Filippo with its warm thermal waters.
