The stone farmhouse of Montovolo was expertly chiseled by the old local stonemasons. Stone by stone, built between 1840 and 1940. the precious Renaissance hall features a restored fresco from the early 1900s and a piano dating back to 1970, also restored and tuned. The rooms on the first floor have been expertly furnished although in different styles, which include the chippendale, the perforated solid wood and the floral carving of the second half of the 1800s. The large outdoor area includes five hectares of wood with centuries-old chestnut trees and part of the old overhanging quarry decommissioned in 1973.
