Hotel Ansitz Kandelburg is a listed building, a medieval castle from the 13th century. Set in the centre of Rio di Pusteria, it features its own chapel and original dungeon that you can tour. Set at an altitude of 700 metres, the hotel is next to Rio di Pusteria in the town centre. It features a garden with sun loungers and parasols and a reading lounge. Rooms have a romantic design with classic furnishings and carpeted floors. Each one includes an LCD TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Breakfast at the Ansitz Kandelburg Hotel is a buffet of sweet and savoury food. It includes cold meats, cheese, freshly prepared eggs and homemade jams. Staff organise hiking tours together with the local tourist board. You can pick up your Almen Card from reception, giving you free entry to 70 museums, ski lifts and public transport. The hotel provides free parking and is 30 metres from the train station and bus stop for buses to Bressanone.
