Our home is an ancient tower (XIIIth Century) located in the medieval village of Petroio, a small town between Val d'Orcia and the Val di Chiana. The whole house is at your disposal and offers to you about 120 square meters. The possibility for a comfortable accommodation is for 7/8 people (2 bedrooms plus double sofa bed an and one place sofa bed, plus extra bed regular size and a baby cot). The apartment is equipped with a private heater, kitchenette and 2 bathrooms. On the first floor there is a large room with a fireplace while, the two bedrooms and the main bathroom, are located on the second and last floor. On the ground floor there is another big room and the secondary bathroom. The furnishings, all restored, are the original ones of the house. Within walking distance, you will find parking, bar, restaurant, small shops. Available at the side of the house, the ATM service and a bank counter. The village is located on a hill at 450 meters. above sea level which contribute to making the climate particularly pleasant in the warmer months.

Petroio is close to Montalcino and Montepuciano with their famous wines; to Pienza, the "ideal city" designed by Rossellino for Pope Pius II; to Chiusi, the ancient Etruscan capital. Its wonderful sorroundings have been set scenes of famous movies, such as: "The English Patient", "Gladiator" and "Nostalghia" and the TV movie "I Medici ", with Dustun Hoffman.
