We are Giovanni and Marta, brother and sister born and raised in Mugello, a land we have always loved and where we have decided to continue the tradition of hospitality started by our parents, Franco and Monica. B&B La Pieve is a family-run bed & breakfast that, for twenty years, has welcomed all those who choose to start a journey, literally and metaphorically, bringing with them the aim to challenge their limits and the pleasure to share their experience. Today we are the ones who run our parents' business, but it is from them that we learned the secrets and the spirit that allowed us to become passionate about this beautiful work. In our B&B we host mostly trekkers and cyclists who are following the Way of the Gods. Our parents taught us that hospitality requires commitment, organization and dedication but, above all, before anything else, it requires love for you own land and the desire to share this love.

At Bed & Breakfast La Pieve we will make sure you feel at home. You will stay in a spacious, pleasant atmosphere in the heart of the Mugello, just half an hour from the city of Florence and approximately one hour by car from Bologna. The central location of our B&B allows you to stay in a quiet place, away from the chaos and to reach in a short time and by any means of transport the places of your interest. We are right in front of the Romanesque church of San Piero a Sieve, on the fourth stage of the trekking "The way of the Gods", which leads from Bologna, through the Apennines, to Florence. The building is an early 20th century terraced house, completely renovated, with two independent entrances, 5 lovingly furnished, comfortable and functional rooms and a cheerful flower garden. You will certainly appreciate our breakfast. We pay particular attention to quality, substance and abundance, with home-made cakes and local organic products (coffee, milk, orange juice, tea, herbal teas, our special apple pie and many other tasty home-made variations, bread, jams, chocolate, butter, biscuits, cereals...). We will also be happy to prepare, on request, our continental breakfas

San piero a sieve is a stopover place on the old Romanesque road from Bologna to Florence, "the way of the gods". Mugello-Tuscany: green, woods, culture, history, art nature, gastronomy, "breathe you are in mugello". At a distance of 5 kilometres from the B&B you can also find "faster walkers" such as the fans of the Mugello International Circuit.
