Olimpia refuge is located in one of the largest Middle Ages neighbourhood: San Pellegrino. Reach the house is very simple, if you arrive by train get off at the stop Porta Romana and walk for 600m to the historic centre, instead if you using the car there is at 250 m a large public and free parking The house is perfect for an immersive experience of Viterbo, the main tourist attractions (e.g. Duomo, Palace of the Popes) are within walking distance, the quarter is also known for festivals and events that welcomes, as San Pellegrino in Fiore, during the streets and squares are decorated with a lot of spectacular flowers to celebrate the start of the warm season. If you are a road trip lover, the refuge can be also a base to explore Tuscia and its surrounding beauties with a car.

Located in the historic center of Viterbo the district of San Pellegrino is a few hundred meters east of the cathedral of Viterbo. Built in the thirteenth century, it is well preserved, consisting of narrow streets where you can admire arches, towers and external stairs (the profferli), it immerses visitors in an authentic and characteristic medieval scenery.
