Welcome to Casa Langhe di Mango, a typical Italian farmhouse offering two self contained houses, located in the UNESCO world heritage region of Piemonte, ITALY. Our farmhouse is set on a private road, nestled into the side of a hill offering incredible views from our terrazzo, courtyard and swimming pool. We are completely surrounded by Moscato vineyards. This is our permanent home and we offer 2 other houses, Barolo and Moscato, as holiday rentals. Barolo is our 'big house' allowing plenty of space for 5 adults. A private entry from our central courtyard leads to a relaxing sitting room, spacious kitchen equipped with all of the essential supplies and a downstairs powder room. Upstairs there is a separate bathroom and 3 bedrooms (2 kings and 1 single) with a large shared verandah for views across the valley and vineyards. All of our guests are free to use the central courtyard, terrazzo, swimming pool and lawned areas. Casa Langhe di Mango has been created and designed for adults. Unfortunately we cannot host babies or children under 16 years of age. We also can't host pets or service animals as we have 3 cats and a dog of our own. They are not allowed into the house as we are doing our best to ensure our guests of an allergy-free environment. Our check in times are from 3pm to 7pm. Please do not arrange to arrive outside of these times without prior discussion with us. Fees may apply.

We were looking for something different. We had a nice home, wonderful friends, a great lifestyle and good jobs in Melbourne, Australia, but felt that we needed to try something new. Well, this is most definitely different and new! Casa Langhe di Mango is now our permanent home. Having travelled widely in a previous lifetime, we are very happy to have chosen Italy for this adventure. We spent over 4 years living through renovations on our three houses. We love hosting and meeting new people, and have made some amazing friendships over the last few years. The biggest compliment you can get as a host is having guests returning for their second and third stays.

Casa Langhe di Mango is found among vine-covered, rolling hills in the very heart of The Langhe Wine Region. With beautiful small villages, castles and churches nearby, you will find plenty to do and lots to see. We have the luxury of being conveniently close to local cantinas, great restaurants, cafes and wine bars. If your passion is food and wine, then you’re definitely in the right place! This region is famous for its excellence in wines, white truffles and some of the most beautiful scenery and villages. Alba, ‘our big town’, is home to Ferrero Rocher chocolate and boasts no less than 7 Michelin Star restaurants. If the great outdoors is your interest, there are plenty of outdoor activities to keep you occupied. The Bar to Bar cycling trail meanders through The Langhe hills from Barbaresco to Barolo with a stop 10 minute’s drive away in Neive. If you enjoy walking and hiking, Gnomo Via is a beautiful walk of about 5km, starting and finishing in Mango and there also some other great hiking trails right on our doorstep. Mango and surrounding local villages offer weekly markets for fresh produce and Alba's Saturday market is a great place for shopping, eating and enjoying the crowds.
