The single-family house, very bright and welcoming, is located in the historical center just a few steps away from the central Piazza Matrice and the Sanctuary of Maria SS. Annunziata. With a total area of approximately 50 m2, it is spread over two floors connected by an internal staircase and is ideal for host 1 to 4 people. Completely renovated, it is equipped with all comforts. On the ground floor, there is the sleeping area with a double bedroom and a bathroom. Upstairs, there is the living area with a kitchen and a peninsula, as well as a spacious living room with a dining area and a sofa bed for two people. The house also has dedicated digital services for smart working (stable, fast, and reliable Wi-Fi connections in all rooms and a workstation with LAN connection in the living room) and is ideal for workation activities, which allow for a perfect combination of remote work and relaxation. The hilltop town is also a chosen destination for nature and hiking enthusiasts. The protected area of the Nature Reserve is home to the golden eagle and the rare Sicilian partridge. Within the paths of Anello del Nisi, you can enjoy trekking activities spread over multiple days, following the principles of green, slow, and sustainable tourism. The route, including its variants, can be traveled on foot, by mountain bike, or on horseback.

I enjoy traveling, discovering new cultures and traditions, cooking, and making my guests feel the typical Sicilian hospitality. The peculiarity and purpose of our services are to make guests feel "at home even on vacation", representing the territory and its typicality with the personality and warmth typical of private hosts. Our offer is not intended to compete with the already valid and excellent hospitality proposal of Agriturismo and local Bed & Breakfast establishments but aims to be an alternative and complementary option, targeting a group of people who prefer to spend their holidays using the spaces, amenities, and comforts of a house and enjoy more autonomy, flexibility, discretion, and independence. Our concept of hospitality and accommodation allows those who choose extra-urban, green, slow, and sustainable tourism in small and peaceful resort areas to experience firsthand, like a resident, the artistic heritage, history, culture, popular traditions, and rhythms of our territory and its surroundings. At Casa Santoro, small and medium-sized animals are welcome. Our guests can travel with their four-legged friends and are not obliged to leave them with friends and family or in pet boarding facilities. I am supported by my son Marco, who takes care of the welcoming and back-office tasks.

Thanks to its geographical location, Fiumedinisi is the ideal location to visit all the gems of Eastern Sicily (Messina, Taormina, Giardini Naxos, Mount Etna, Catania, Syracuse), part of the Tyrrhenian Sicily, and the Aeolian Islands. The village of Fiumedinisi, throughout the centuries a crossroads of various dominations, was founded in 1000 BC at the foot of Mount Belvedere by the Sicels. They were succeeded by the Greeks, who gave the area the name Nisa, in honor of Dionysus, the god of wine. The Normans transferred the settlement to its current location on the banks of the Nisi River, giving it the name "Flumen Dionisyi", from which the present-day Fiumedinisi derives its name. The mining deposits, silk production and trade, abundance of water, and fertile land have contributed to the prosperity of the town throughout the centuries. The monumental heritage of Fiumedinisi is certainly one of the richest in the Ionian area. The most important monuments are: the Belvedere Castle, the Mint Palace, the Sanctuary of Maria SS. Annunziata, the Church of Saint Peter, the Church of San Nicola di Bari, the Church of the Blessed Virgin of Mount Carmel, the Church of Madonna delle Grazie, the Church of S. Anna ("a Nunziatella"), the Church of S. Antonio Abate, and the Church of the Holy Trinity.
