Our it’s a big family, with a long tradition behind. We are descendants of Marquis Amati – Ingolotti and from our ancestors, in addition to the farmhouse, we inherited the innate fascination for its surrounding lands where our routes originate. The first two who have transformed this big old farmhouse into a holiday house were Manuela and Roberto, geologist and retired math teachers, that nowadays look up with pride to their sons and nephews caring on the history of Casale Amati. Federica, a teacher, takes care of the decor and runs the house with passion. Her brother Enrico, computer programmer and marble sculptor, is the one that dedicates himself to the garden and to the numerous different plants that the uncle of the third-generation, Panfilo Ingolotti, planted there in the early 1900s. Livia and Valerio Massimo, respectively daughter and son of Federica, are currently university students however, between lessons and exams, they have a lot of fun giving their help to carry out the farmhouse. Last but not least Mrs Rina has the right to be considered part of the family, a witty and nice old woman who knows the history of this farmhouse better than anyone else.

Casale Amati, situated on the border between Liguria and Tuscany, it’ s an ancient water mill that has been transformed into a suggestive and peaceful resort. It dates back to the fourteenth century. It is composed by three elegant historic dwellings "La Marquise" "Le Macine" "Il Frantoio" furnished with care and using vintage furniture, each apartment is more than 100 square meters.
