Located on the Strada del Vino wine road in Caldaro, Hotel Goldener Stern is located in a renovated 18th century building. It features a large outdoor pool and a panoramic-view sauna. All modern rooms are uniquely furnished. Rooms at the Goldener Stern are small but charmed and come with air conditioning, a minibar and an LCD TV with satellite channels. Some offer a balcony, and free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. A daily buffet breakfast is provided, including cappuccino and herbal tea, together with local cheese and mountain yogurt. There are many restaurants in the area. The wellness centre has a sauna, hot tub and a Turkish bath. Massage treatments are also available. Lake Caldaro is 2 km from this family-run hotel. Bolzano is a 20-minute drive away.
