THE APARTMENT The structure, used for tourist leases, is a finely furnished and air-conditioned attic apartment, located on the second floor of an old farmhouse (there is no lift). The building is surrounded by olive trees and is 1 km from the centre, with all sorts of shops and services. The apartment includes a living room with kitchen, dishwasher, television and sofa bed; a double bedroom with a compartment under the bed base and a large folding shelf that can be used as desk; a room with two single beds (they can be joined if necessary) equipped with drawers under the bed base; an internal bathroom with washing machine and a second bathroom with access from the corridor. In both bedrooms there are TV connections. In the living room there is a balcony with a fantastic view of the sea of ​​Agropoli and Santa Maria di Castellabate. Upon arrival you will find sheets, blankets, towels and a welcome gift. The windows are equipped with mosquito nets applied with knurled adhesive tape. HOUSE RULES At check in, guests must identify themselves by showing a valid document with date, place of birth and place of residence. They will also have to sign a tourist lease agreement (it must not be registered for less than 30 days) in which they declare that they have inspected the accommodation, with its furniture and fittings, and that they are responsible for it. The price includes an electricity consumption up to 25 kilowatthours per day. Extra consumption will be paid at 0.25 euro cents per kilowatthour (in the apartment there is a counter and guests can view it). For example: for a 5-night stay, the price includes 125 kWh (25 kwh x 5 days) .

THE SURROUNDINGS The building is located on the hill of Torchiara, a town in the north of Cilento, 15 minutes from the sea of ​​Agropoli, 25 minutes from the archaeological area of ​​Paestum, 10 minutes from the castle of Rocca Cilento, 40 minutes from Santa Maria di Castellabate and 50 minutes from Velia. The town has a modern inhabited centre (Santantuono), equipped with shops and services, and the ancient districts of Torchiara and Copersito, which are more peaceful and picturesque. In the town there is a soccer field, a municipal villa with games for children, at least one hotel with an outdoor swimming pool and a SPA that can also be used by outside guests. There are possibilities of trekking and long walks. In the nearby town of Agropoli you will have many opportunities to do sports, also linked to the presence of the sea; you can walk the streets of the evening nightlife and the seafront; you can visit the charming old town on the promontory overlooking the marina. And from the sea you can go to the mountains, visiting the castle of Rocca Cilento or the villages along the slopes of the inland hills that lead to Monte Stella. A visit to the Greek temples of Paestum (5th century BC) cannot be missed. PUBLIC TRANSPORT Inside the property there is a reserved car-parking space. As the scheduled buses pass a few times a day, it is necessary to have a car if you intend to go to the surrounding towns or to reach the Agropoli railway station. By train you can easily reach Naples and Salerno from where buses leave for the Amalfi Coast. In summer, the hydrofoil leaves from the tourist port of Agropoli for Capri and various locations on the Cilento and Amalfi coasts.
