Our house is part of an ancient monastery, whose original structure is dated before the year one thousand. Thanks to its thick stone walls, it is very cool and comfortable. The room that we rent was the old oil mill and the beam, to which was screwed the press, is still present in. The room measures about 12 square meters plus an exclusive use bathroom and a walk-in closet. The room is completely independent from the rest of the house. Breakfast is served in a bright common hall and our guests have free access to the garden and to the external common areas, including the private car park. During the stay, a family member is always present in the house. IMPORTANT NOTE: we live in a medieval village and our street and our gate are not very large, so you can not enter our parking lot with camper, caravan or trailer.

Cristiano and Lisa (see the portrait) have two daughters of 12 and 11 and a dog (Bice). They love the quiet of the countryside, gardening and good, homemade food. Cristiano is an orthoprosthetic, a computer programming enthusiast and an amateur musician. He contributes to some open source project and he plays electric bass in a rock band. Lisa is the heart of the family and of the B&B: she prepares cakes and homemade jams for our guests and she is the creator and the interior decorator of "Il Bosso di Toscana". All the flowers and the plants of our garden are beautiful and still alive only thanks to her.

The house is located into the heart of the medieval village of Badia Agnano. A walk through the streets of the village is very pleasant. Two minutes walk far from the house, you can find all the essential services: pharmacy, post office, the ATM, bar, grocery, fruit and vegetable shop. By your private car, you can visit the local area, which is rich of historical villages, as well as the major Tuscany towns. Arezzo is 27 km far (about 30 minutes), Siena is 40 Km far (40 minutes) and Florence is far less than 60 Km (1 hour). Moreover, in about 90 minutes, you can reach Grosseto and the surrounding maritime area (Marina di Grosseto, Castiglione della Pescaia, Principina a Mare). In the square of the village (2 minutes walk), there is the bus stop, where there a re races for the neighboring countries and from Florence, Siena and Arezzo. The nearest train station is at Bucine, far 8 km (10 minute drive). The Florence airport is at 1 hour drive.
