An old mill on the historic wall of Todi renovated in a light scandinavian/italian style. A home away from home - with just 3 rooms we will do our best to welcome you as a friend of the house and share with you all the beauties of our town and region. The house is situated on the actual wall with 10 minutes walk to Piazza del Popolo - so you are in town - but if feels like the country side - with great views of the lower Tiber valley. Each room is decorated individually in light and simple fabrics - when staying with us you will have access to the communal rooms in the house during the day hours - grab a book in the library and sink into the big couch in front of the fire place.

We came to Todi and Umbria 8 years ago - before we operated an italian restaurant in Copenhagen for the past 11 years. Both being chefs - we wanted to be closer to the country we have come to love so much through cooking and traveling. We wanted to be able to pick the perfect 2 artichokes from the crate, meet the man you made the pecorino and the guy who looks after the vine yards. Cooking is very much part of the experience - we take great pride in your breakfast - each morning you will wake up to a new feast - homemade breads, juices, jams, cereals, egg and sweets - and the best coffee in town.

Todi is a magic place - it really grows on you. A small town - but with everything you need - perfectly preserved piazza, bars, enotecas and restaurants. Todi is very centrally located in Umbria - just of the E 45 - making it easy to arrive from Rome or Florence. Within in hours drive you are able to reach most places of interest in Umbria - Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, the marble falls at Terni, wine tasting in Montefalco or Bevagna, the Trasimeno lake or just a lazy drive in the country side.
