Il Lavatoio Dimora Storica offers rooms in Castel Di Sangro, in the heart of the Apennine Mountains. The lobby incorporates a 18th-century restored wash house. Rooms are set over the 2 floors, or in one of the towers. All come with a TV and private bathroom. Some have a balcony with views over the town. Sweet and savory breakfast is served at the table (no buffet). Many outdoor activities are available in the surrounding area, including hiking, cycling and horse riding. The hotel is just a 20-minute drive from the Abruzzo National Park and 15 minutes' by car from the ski resort of Roccaraso. The town of Roccaraso is 9 km away.
