L’8Boutique project was born a few years ago from me and my cousin Federica. We are two cousins who wished for a new challenge, decided to valorize and innovate the building in which they spent their childhood. The great love for Bologna, a small medieval town still rather untouched that offers so many opportunities and is located in a strategic point between Florence Venice and Milan, has been the cornerstone of the project. Our goal is to transform the grandparents’ home into a place where not only they welcome people who arrive in Bologna, but where they make them experience a special trip allowing everyone to discover the city as well as the real Bolognese living.

L’8Boutique is dedicated to the traveler who appreciates personality, style and impeccable service, as well as luxury, discretion and privacy. Elegant furnishings, refined materials and a full range of comfort create an exclusive, comfortable and functional setting in the historic center of Bologna.

Neighbourhood information

We are in a quiet street, halfway between the station and piazza Maggiore, close to the main tourist attractions, all within walking distance: the Two Towers, Piazza Maggiore, the Fountain of Neptune, the Basilica of San Petronio, Santo Stefano, the Jewish Ghetto, the Botanical Garden, all the theaters and museums of the city (among these we recommend visiting the Museum of Bologna, where you will also find a small space dedicated to our grandmother, Virginia Bonfiglioli, famous for carrying on the embroidery technique called Aemilia Ars). Ours is a strategic location, well served by public transport linking all points of interest within the city walls and attractions outside the center. It is also close to taxi parking or public parking and a few minutes by bus from the main hospitals (Sant’Orsola, Maggiore and Rizzoli).
