I wish all borders could dissolve, to allow people to meet their own essence and other's. I am really glad to meet people who believe in reciprocal welcoming, trust, respect, and non violence. Shortly before arrival, our guests receive two guides in pdf, one to the house and services (grocery, bars, restaurants, public transport, etc.) in the area, while the other is full of links and useful tips for organizing a visit to the city and its surroundings. I also share with pleasure with our guests, based on their interests, information on art exhibitions, concerts, events, excursions to Pisa and surroundings and suggestions on interesting and little known destinations.

The San Martino district is one of the four that make up the historic center of Pisa, full of churches, palaces and houses built mostly in medieval times. Car access is restricted to residents and some areas are exclusively pedestrian. The streets are animated by numerous shops, bars, restaurants, nightclubs and outdoor venues for aperitifs and shows. The lovely Piazza Chiara Gambacorti (known to all as Piazza della Pera) still welcomes children’s games and chatter neighborhood, then in the evening is a meeting place for aperitif or dinner on outdoor tables and often welcomes events and shows. Corso Italia, the pedestrian street that marks the "border" with the other district on the left bank of the Arno, is the street of the windows and the "rub". Numerous nightclubs will welcome you with a good beer and live music. The beautiful Scotto Garden, a few steps from Pisa Art Apartment, is a green park between the ancient walls of the city, partly walkable and the San Gallo Bastion; it houses an area equipped with games for children, flower pergolas with tables and benches, a large lawn that in summer welcomes shows and concerts. In the summer months you can enjoy the sunset and the evening by the river sipping an aperitif, dining, listening to live music or dancing at one of the small beaches of the Arno: one of these is 50 meters from the apartment!
