Located 350 metres from the Spanish Steps in Rome, the prestigious Grand Hotel Plaza is set in a restored historical building from 1860. It features 2 panoramic terraces and elegant accommodation with high ceilings and Carrara marble. The Grand Hotel Plaza has preserved many of its original features and impressive Mongiardino interior decor, including the unique Salone delle Feste ballroom. The hotel has also been featured in many famous films. All individually designed rooms and suites come with air conditioning and free WiFi. Each of the suites boasts a spacious terrace with spectacular views over some of the major monuments of Rome, including the Spanish Steps and St. Peter's Basilica. The Carrara marble bathrooms include a Sorelle Fontana courtesy set. Terrazza Accademia di Francia, open all year round, is the ideal setting for a relaxing drink with impressive views of Villa Borghese and the Church of Saint Carlo al Corso’s dome. An American breakfast is served daily in the elegant Salone Mascagni hall, and includes homemade products and pastries. The Sorelle Fontana Restaurant, which features original sketches from famous designers, serves Mediterranean cuisine with seasonal and local ingredients. Grand Hotel Plaza is located on the popular shopping street of Via del Corso, and a 2-minute walk from designer shops along Via dei Condotti.
