Set in a green area just 10 metres from Lake Varese, Hotel Vecchia Riva offers beautiful lake views. Parking is free and rooms come with free Wi-Fi and a TV with free sports and movie channels. The lake-front restaurant is well-known in the area for its delicious cuisine and the extensive wine list. It specialises in homemade pasta, risotto, and meat and fish dishes, along with the self-service appetisers. Restaurant is close on Wednesdays. Hotel Ristorante Vecchia Riva is 20 metres from the bus stop to Varese's centre, 3 km away. You can drive to the Golf Club Varese in about 15 minutes, and to FieraMilano trade fair in 30 minutes. The cycle tracks which circle the lake start just 50 metres from the hotel. There is a Bike Rent just 50mt far from the Hotel, electric bikes can be rented on site. The hotel is 50 metres from a public swimming pool, available in the summer. A shuttle service to/from Malpensa Airport, 41 km away, is available on request at a surcharge. Varese Casbeno Train Station, a 6-minute drive away, offers connections with Milan where the Expo 2015 takes place.
