Entire 80 m² apartment all to yourself on the 2nd floor in Sottocastello di Cadore, just 1 km from Pieve, at the foot of Monte Ricco, with balcony views of the lake and Dolomites. The cozy and spacious apartment features two large, bright double bedrooms with double windows, blackout curtains, and included bed linen, with the option to add a cot or single bed. The living room welcomes you with a comfortable 4-seater sofa, Smart TV, and a warm pellet stove already lit during winter months, with fuel provided. The fully equipped kitchen includes a stovetop, oven, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, TV, and a large table with a traditional wooden bench. You’ll also find all the essentials to start your stay: coffee, spices, oil, sugar, and cleaning products. The modern bathroom offers a spacious shower, towels, hairdryer, and toiletries. Next door, a practical laundry room with a washing machine and detergents. Enjoy relaxing moments on the private balcony with panoramic views of the Dolomites and Cadore Lake (or dam), furnished with a bench and table. My father bought this house to bring the family together and give us happy moments during vacations. Today, even though my family and I use it less often, my wish is for it to continue being filled with people who care for each other. My husband, my kids, and I manage the house. Hospitality is fundamental for us, with roots in both Sicily and Veneto: a warm home, something to drink and eat, a comfy bed, and all the little attentions that make you feel truly at home. For us, tradition means family, gathering around a big table sharing food, laughter, and maybe a glass of prosecco! In a 10-minute walk, you can reach the Diga del Centro Cadore (<1 km) and the climbing wall on the dam. Nearby, you’ll find cultural and natural attractions such as the Casa di Tiziano Vecellio (1.3 km), the Museo dell’Occhiale (1.2 km), and the magical Parco Roccolo (1.5 km), with a panoramic terrace, a gnome library, Santa's house and 19th-century forts. Cycling enthusiasts can follow the Dolomites Bike Path, which connects all the way to Cortina d’Ampezzo (31 km).
