TWHOLM is located on the eastern side of Lake Maggiore, so its position awards the villa with direct sunlight all day and spectacular sunsets; this make the house extremely bright, with great ambience, natural light entering its windows and ceiling windows during the day, hence its name, The White House On Lake Maggiore. TWHOLM is 35min to Malpensa Airport (MXP) or the Swiss border if you arrive by car. Great day trips to explore the area, including Varese (20 min.), Milan (45 min.), Lake Como (45 min), Lugano (45 min.), Stresa and the Borromee islands (40 min.), and lots more. You can exercise or do yoga in the garden, walk around the 1 mile block surrounded by nature, trek in the woods (300 meters), walk or jog on Ispra's beautiful lakefront (3 min by car), go horseback riding (10 min walk from home), sail on the lake, drive around and do many more activities.
