In a small town a few steps from the village of the city of Cava de' Tirreni (Sa), there is an enchanting place surrounded by greenery where you can stay at least "once".
A dive into atmospheres of the past, like "once upon a time"... in the history that lives again between the "vaults" and the stone walls of this ancient residence from the 1500s.
Vaulted ceilings, antique decorations and beds, rooms with the flavor of the past. Welcoming and with all comforts, where at every step you can hear the creaking of the wooden parquet boards which fits perfectly with the use of finely hand-decorated terracotta majolica (riggiole). A dive into history, into the sunlight that enters and warms, which rests on the tub in the center of the room and takes the gaze outside. The furnishings, accessories and details, everything has the taste of the past. Our rooms are equipped with: Private bathroom in the room with toilet, shower, linen; Freestanding bathtub in the room; Wrought iron double bed with linen; Wifi connection; Smart TVs; Air conditioning. In front of the house there is a free parking area and a really nice restaurant where you can eat good pizza and Italian dishes.
I am Francesco, an expert in territorial marketing and tourism communication.
The best part of this job is the knowledge that can be made with many people, from different countries and cultures.
I hope you can feel at home in my house, which I have tried to furnish with care, thinking above all about the details and the style that takes us back in time... like "once upon a time" (una volta).
Our ancient residence is located in a quiet area, surrounded by greenery, very close to the Amalfi Coast and Salerno, reachable in just a few minutes.
A few kilometers away you can visit the Benedictine Abbey of the SS. Trinità. Founded in 1011, it is a Benedictine monastery nestled between the mountains. It preserves precious manuscripts, a historic library and a church with splendid frescoes and works of art.
We always suggest visiting the center of our city, Cava de' Tirreni, easily reachable on foot in 10 minutes (about 800 meters): you can walk among the historic porticoed buildings of the characteristic "Borgo Scacciaventi" (now Corso Umberto I). In the evening the city is transformed with grace into a place where the nightlife gathers in the many clubs, restaurants, pubs, or simply has fun filling the porticoed village, both on the hottest and coldest days...
