At an altitude of 1500 metres, this resort is reached by a cable car from the town of Lana. It offers a free wellness centre with various spa treatments, and 2 restaurants. All spacious rooms at Vigilius Mountain Resort are built from natural materials. Each room has parquet floors and a furnished balcony or patio. Some rooms offer panoramic views of the Dolomites. A breakfast buffet is available daily, made from fresh, local ingredients. The traditional Stube Ida restaurant is open during the day and in the evening for regional dishes. Restaurant 1500 serves international cuisine at dinner. A physical trainer runs free activities such as the Five Tibetans, hiking, meditation and more. Guests can also take part in mountain bike tours and Nordic walking at no extra charge. The resort is 7 km from Merano, and a 30-minute drive from Bolzano. There is a free car park at the funicular station.
