Second Floor: Three double bedrooms, including a master suite with an ensuite bathroom, large balcony, and spectacular sea views. Two additional bedrooms (which can be set up as either double or twin beds, on request) share a second bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Top Floor: A cozy lounge area with a sofa and smart TV (internet streaming only, no live TV). A Little About Your Hosts – Stuart & Francesca We’re a family of four with a deep love for travel and exploration. We’ve lived in many places, both in the East and West, and we have a passion for sailing, yoga, and nature. We also have two boys who love surfing—so you might guess that Bali holds a special place in our hearts. Originally, we purchased and designed Villa Bali as our family home, never intending to rent it out. However, since we now live in Portugal, we decided to share our villa with guests like you. We’ve poured our hearts into refurbishing the villa with natural materials and the craftsmanship of local artisans. The marble flooring, for example, comes from Orosei on the east coast of Sardinia, and Stuart lovingly planted the garden and trees. We’ve decorated the villa with pieces collected from our travels, and we hope you enjoy the eclectic yet simple style, the abundant light, spaciousness, and comfort. A Home Designed for Comfort & Sustainability When we refurbished Villa Bali, our goal was to create a home that is both energy-efficient and beautiful. We chose the best insulating materials and modern technology, although we had to navigate some bureaucratic hurdles along the way! While the villa doesn’t have some obvious eco-friendly features like solar panels, it’s designed to use very little energy. The key is simple: circulate the air at night and keep the windows closed during the day. Enjoying the Outdoors We hope you’ll take full advantage of the villa’s outdoor spaces. The garden, terrace, and patio offer lovely spots to relax and enjoy the sea breeze—especially at dawn and sunset. Be sure to add a touch of Med flavour to your meals with the herbs from the garden, and treat yourself to some local prosecco in the pool on the top-floor terrace, while soaking in the breathtaking views.
