Villa Boccaccio is a traditional Tuscan country house that has undergone some
careful renovations. It has now been restored it to its former glory whilst still
offering the same comfort and luxuries of modern-day accommodation. The
Villa is located in the picturesque countryside between Certaldo and the
legendary town of San Gimignano. The residence itself stands on a hill and
offers beautiful views of the countryside. Nearby, you’ll find a number of
renowned Tuscan vineyards, olive groves and historical monuments, as well as
some fantastic restaurants offering unique gastronomic experiences.
Property information
Villa Boccaccio offers 3 apartments (Luxury, Toscana and Romantico), in which
altogether there are 4 luxury bedrooms, 4 spacious bathrooms and a private
hot tub in the attic. Each apartment includes a living room, dining room,
kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, dressing room, and terrace. They also have a fully
equipped kitchen and dining room, an LCD TV, a safe, and a built-in wardrobe.
The floors feature terracotta tiles whilst the original wooden ceiling beams
have been preserved. But what really brings everything together are the luxury
textiles, which come in all different colours and tones typical of Tuscan interior
design. The Villa also comes with wi-fi connection all throughout the house.

In the heart of Tuscany is the historic town of Certaldo, the birthplace of the
famous Italian poet, Giovanni Boccaccio, who is perhaps best known for writing
The Decameron. Villa Boccaccia has quickly become one of Certaldo's most
sought-after tourist hotspots due to its close proximity to many major
attractions. It’s just 40 kilometres away from Florence (the art mecca of Italy)
and Florence Airport; a half-hour drive from Siena (which is regarded as one of
the most beautiful cities in Italy); less than an hour away from Pisa and its
famous leaning tower; and just a stone’s throw away from the legendary
medieval residence of San Gimignano.
