The Hydraulic roof The two wings of the roof open at a 30° angle like the wings of a butterfly. The two wings totalling 60 square meters open with 4 hydraulic pistons. This allows natural ventilation to cool the house and brings to the villa a very unique magic sensation of literally sleeping under the stars. The external side The Villa offers three private terraces plus the pool terrace, all where you can enjoy at night a splendid view of the lights of the city of Lucca and its surroundings. All for the exclusive use of the guests of the Villa. The pool Guests staying at Villetta Farfallina share only the swimming pool with the owner. Usually, the owners do not use the pool while the guests use it. The pool is overflowing, has an area of 70 square meters, is 26 meters long and has a depth of 1.20 meters. It includes an area for swimming, another larger area for playing, and a Jacuzzi area. At any point of the pool, you can enjoy a breathtaking view on Lucca.

The place is ideal for long excursions. From the hill behind the house you can admire the plain of Pisa, Livorno, as well as Elba Islands and Corsica by good weather. A car is essential and ample parking is available.
