Rovenna is a village of medieval origin that hosts several characteristic local festivals throughout the year and is the starting point for several walks in the Larian Mountains. Cernobbio is its own municipality and is one of the most charming places on Lake Como, located on the western shore of the lake, a few kilometres from Como city. This picturesque town is known for its elegance, natural beauty and rich history. Cernobbio is a perfect destination for a peaceful stay. In Cernobbio you will find bars, restaurants and food shops and on Wednesday mornings there is a market in the piazza. The nearest super market is called Bennet, in the village of Tavernola, 5.5 km away from the flat. GETTING AROUND Please note that the taxi service on Lake Como is not always reliable or readily available. We therefore advise against relying on it once you have reached your destination. We suggest considering alternative options such as public transport (buses and boats), hiring a car or using pre-booked private drivers. A bus stop is a 1-minute walk away. We recommend the use of a car, as the flat has a private, covered parking space. Easily accessible from the airports, Milan and Lugano, all of which are about an hour's drive away.
