We are a couple of senior citizens who has been living in Madaba all of our lives. We are part of a generation which witnessed the gradual transformation of Madaba from a small village into becoming a city. Although cultural dynamics change over time, we, as most of the elderly folks living in this historic city, continue to carry on the tradition of being hospitable, striving to insure that our guests feel at home, in a warm welcoming environment. As we are now old and unable to travel, we thought: why not let the world come to us, instead. Thus, it pleases us to open our welcoming hearts and our old humble house to host visitors from all over the world. With love and care we’ll do our best to provide the best stay experience, in hope to reflect our authentic spirit in conjunction with local identity, so you can hold unforgettable memories about your visit to our city of Madaba and to our beloved Jordan. In This simple cozy old house we tried to provide the main basic needs for your comfortable short stay. We can host 6 persons in 3 bedrooms ( 1 double bed – 3 single beds) in addition to 1 extra bed/ floor mattress in living room . 1.5 bathrooms. Smart-TV satellite channels & Free Wi-Fi, an equipped kitchen; microwave, fridge & washing machine. The ground floor was built 1966 in which the host live. This 1st floor apartment was added on 1983, The apartment has a private entrance; Guests have access to the entire flat, keep in mind that we live in the ground floor, so it is easy to give help if needed Parties are not allowed without notice /permission in advance, as we go early to bed at 10 o’clock. Other things to note *We offer One free SIM Card for local phones (Orange) keep in mind to return it at the end of your stay. * 2 electrical water heaters are available (one for the blue bathroom, the 2nd is for kitchen and shower in beige toilet), when you need hot water turn it on half an hour before usage and DON'T forget to turn it off when you leave the house or go to bed). *2 portable safety gas heaters are available for use in winter. *2 portable fans for use in Summer * We provide Shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper, and basic cleaning staff, and one bottle (18 litter) of drinking water once at the beginning of your stay.
