Bedouin Sunrise camp is located in the desert around 10 kilometers from Wadi Rum village. We have 16 comfortable tents with the occupancy for 40 persons. One of the tents is placed on the rock where you can have a superior mountain view. We also have a unique novelty: a huge swing where you can relax and enjoy the magnificent views of the desert. The camp has one big tent for the traditional meals which we prepare and serve with love and appreciation for our rich cultural and gastronomic heritage. In the evening you will enjoy the warmness by the fire and clear starry sky. Our camp is equipped with shared bathrooms and toilets for your convenience. We provide warm blankets, pillows and linen.

My name is Ali, I am a son of Wadi Rum. Like most Bedouin of my generation, I was born in the Eastern Hisma and spent my youth living in Bait al Shar or “house of hair” with my family. The desert was my playground. Like my sisters and brothers, I began to take the family’s herd out to pasture at a very young age. Always the inquisitive kind, I took advantage of these quiet moments to explore my surroundings. Each day would bring new and exciting challenges as I walked my sheeps and goats along old Bedouin roads. New rock formations, desert niches and remnants from yesterday always caught my eyes. Over time I came to know the desert like the palm of my hand. Nowadays you can still find me walking through the desert, only now I am walking with tourists sharing the knowledge about those old Bedouin trails. Working independently, my commitment to personalized service and exploration is evident from the path I have chosen. I will be pleased to meet you with my beautiful family - my wife and seven children, who support me and make my days even happier.

The desert of Wadi Rum is one of the most special and deserted areasin the world. The surface is full of rocky mountains and looks like another planet. No wonder it served as a scenery for some of the most famous movies, such as Red Planet and The Martian. Like other deserted areas, Wadi Rum offers magnificent views of the sky - sunsets are explosion of colours and nights are filled with thousands bright stars.
