About 40–50 minutes by car to Mt. Aso’s crater and Kusasenri. Relax in the nature of Minami Aso and refresh in our onsen. All rooms have private open-air baths, available anytime. Get off at JA Kugino gas station or Michi-no-Eki Asobo-no-Sato Kugino. Shuttle service available – please contact the inn in advance. By Train/Bus from Kumamoto Station • Train: Take JR Hōhi Line to Tateno Station → Transfer to Minami Aso Railway → Get off at Shirakawa Highland Station (Minami Aso Mizu-no-Umare-Sato). About 10 min walk. Shuttle available. Minami Aso Railway is a scenic local line from Tateno to Takamori. • Bus: Take the Takachiho-go and get off at the same stops above.
