This is Kamijima—a town of 25 islands in the northern part of Ehime Prefecture.
Drawn by its nature, cuisine, the kindness of its people, and its exceptional cycling environment when we first visited by bike, we decided to make this our home.
“We want as many cyclists as possible to experience the gentle, island-time pace of our town!”
With that in mind, we’ve chosen Iwaki Island as the site for our guesthouse, café, and bike shop.
Kamijima doesn’t have a single traffic light, and traffic is light—there are few “must-see” tourist spots.
Yet, removed from the city’s hustle and bustle, you’ll hear only the birdsong and the distant hum of passing boats. You can lose track of time, let your mind settle, and truly savor the moment. There are countless places here where you can be fully present.
Why not make a little “stopover” to discover the island’s peaceful rhythms, connect with the locals, and find the spots that speak to you—experiences you can only enjoy here?
Our café and bike shop are set to open together in 2026. We aim to create lodging where cyclists can stay with total peace of mind.
Our guesthouse is located on Iwagi Island.
There are three ways to get to Iwagi Island:
1. Ikuchi Island Route.
Take the Sanko Port ferry to Iwagi Island's Okogi Port from Sunoe Port, located on the south side of Ikuchi Island. Ferries run every 30 minutes, and you can bring a car on board without a reservation.
2. Inno Island Route.
Use the Ikina ferry from Hab Port, located on the south side of Inno Island, to Tateishi Port on Ikina Island. Ferries run every 20 minutes, and you can bring a car on board without a reservation. From Tateishi Port, you will arrive at our guesthouse after crossing one bridge.
3. Imabari Route.
Take the Geiyo ferry from Imabari Port to Iwagi Port. You can also board at Tomoura Port on Oshima or Kiura Port on Hakata Island along the way. There are four ferries a day, and cars cannot be boarded. No reservations are needed.
