The Corner House apartments are located in the Shin-yu area next to Gochisou (specialises in Japanese cocktails, beers and sourdough pizzas). The main shopping street, Oyu-dori, is only 3 minutes away by foot. The popular Shin-yu onsen is a minute’s walk away.
Neighborhood info
Traditional quaint Japanese village with fantastic snow (up to 12 meters/year!) and plenty of public onsens to enjoy at the end of a long day on the slopes. The locals are really friendly and the town is beautiful. And as an extra bonus, Nozawa was the host of the 1998 Winter Olympics!
During the summer, the gondolas open for mountain biking activities.
