Our hotel offers guests the opportunity to experience a destination within a destination. Enjoy a beautifully restored historic properties that have been designed to showcase the old-world charms of traditional Japanese architecture and interiors with a perfect blend of modern designs, technology, curated art and antiques, creating the perfect cozy retreat. Each property is named after a great Kyoyaki Japanese Potter and Painter – we take our inspiration from the many kilns and pottery studios in the neighborhood. The traditional machiya layout covers two floors. The living and bathroom facilities are on the ground floor and the sleeping quarters are located on the second floor. Special features of each machiya include a full functioning kitchen with a dining/family room, a flat screen TV and private garden views. Our bathrooms feature a changing room area, a Japanese bathtub and separate shower facilities. Each property has a separate washing machine and dryer. Indulge in a variety of complimentary amenities and services are available during your stay. We are dedicated to achieving sustainable practices and goals through our eco housekeeping policies to clean and maintain the hotel while minimizing our environmental impact.
