Hello! I'm Motoko. My daughter is married and living in US. This house is freshly built in 2017 and I'm living here alone. I love traveling myself and been received good hospitalities at various places. I want to do the same for the guests like you staying this place. I'll be needing some googling and dictionary for languages other than Japanese But my daughter is fluent in English and ready to help me online if I need to. So guests from all country is welcome. Within 9 minutes walk to Keisei Funabashi station, 11 minutes to JR Funabashi station. Straightforward all paved pedestrian side walks with night light all the way to the house. Great access to Tokyo Disneyland, Makuhari Messe. It takes one train ride to get to Narita Airport (49 minutes). There are two 24/7 convenience stores (Lawson & SevenEleven) within 4-5 minutes walk from the house. Kanaloa Funabashi has two guest-rooms on the 1st floor, Two apartment rooms with loft on the 2nd floor. One guest-room can accommodate up to 2 people. One apartment room can accommodate up to 3 people. Each guest-room is equipped with an air conditioner, tv (with Amazon Fire TV), high speed wifi internet, closet and dresser mirror. Each apartment on the 2nd floor is equipped with a bathtub, toilet, bathroom sink, and kitchen (electric stove, kitchen tools and dishes included). We did soundproofing work but we are right next to the train track so you will hear some trains. Close all the windows during the night for the best noice reduction. I personally don't find it too noisy But it really depends on people. We have also prepared ear plugs ready upon your request.

Funabashi station is where people get off and on the most throughout Chiba and very lively station. Especially the south side of the station has many stores and restaurants that you will find pretty much anything here. For examples, you will find department store, fashion stores, grocery stores, drug stores, or how about 6 story-high Japan’s biggest dollar store (Daiso). Everyone’s favorite DonQuijote is also on the south side. The store is full of affordable interesting Japanese souvenir. They open till 3am. And for some entertaiments Funabashi offers 6 story-high arcade center (Taito station) or some latest tech karaoke places also on the south side.
