Birodo-an is a two-story traditional yet modern vacation house. The classic interior reminiscent of cultural houses from Taisho period. On the first floor, stand the living room, the dining room, a Japanese-style room, the kitchen, the bathroom and a separate toilet. The bedroom, the second Japanese-style room and the second toilet are on the second floor. Equipment: Kitchen: household appliances (fridge, IH stove, microwave), cookware and tableware. Bathroom: towels and amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, toothbrush, comb, razor, cotton, cotton swab, facial cleanser, make-up remover). Toilet: Western-style toilet, one on each floor. Bedroom: 2 single beds in the western-style room, 2 futon beds in the Japanese-style room. Other: a washing machine and laundry detergent are at your disposal as well as a matcha set to do your own tea ceremony. 【Waste Disposal】 Daily trash is collected free. Items not accepted as regular waste in Kyoto (e.g., suitcases, appliances, cookware, knives) can be processed as “special waste” at 2,000 JPY per item. ※ Hazardous items (aerosols, batteries, chemicals) and oversized or bulk items may not be accepted or may require a quotation. ※ Knives must be securely wrapped. Improperly packaged items may be refused. 【About Inquiry Hours】 Please note that chat support is unavailable between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. If you need assistance during these hours, please refer to the information booklet provided in your room. 【No Smoking Policy】 Our property is entirely non-smoking. If smoking is detected inside the room, a special cleaning fee of 30,000 JPY will be charged.

Well-known tourist attractions, such as Kodaiji Temple, Yasaka Shrine, Gion area, Kiyomizu Temple and Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka historical alleys, stand within a short walking distance. There are several supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants and shops nearby. The bus stop, Higashiyama-Yasui, is at a 5 minutes' walk from Birodo-an. Keihan line and Hankyuu line train stations are also within walking distance. From Kyoto Station, it takes approximately 15 minutes by bus to go to Birodo-an.
