A 5-minute walk from JR Kotohira Train Station, Kotosankaku Hiten provides Japanese rooms with traditional futon beds and Konpira Mountain views. Hot-spring baths, traditional meals and massage services are featured. Tatami (woven-straw) floors and shoji paper screens create a zen atmosphere in the rooms at Kotohira Onsen Kotosankaku Hiten. An en suite bathroom with a bathtub and Western toilet is attached. Some rooms include a private hot-spring bath. Kanamaru-za, Japan’s oldest kabuki theatre, is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Konpira-gu Shrine is a 20-minute walk. Zentsu-ji Temple is a 10-minute drive away. Guests can have some fun trying karaoke or use the lobby’s free Wi-Fi. A Japanese breakfast and multi-course kaiseki dinner are served at Ichiriki Jyaya. Japanese-style pub Izakaya Daikichi is also on site.
