We renovated an old house and opened the guesthouse SAZANAMI in 2025. It is a wonderful place where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the four seasons, rich in nature. You can experience a space that feels like you are in the world of Ghibli, where you can hear no sounds of cars or people, as if you are isolated from modern society. It is a mountain-side inn, so it is cool in the mornings and evenings in the summer. There is no air conditioning, but we lend out electric fans for free, so please enjoy the natural breeze and old-fashioned air. In winter, we lend out stoves for a fee. We provide kotatsu and electric blankets in the rooms for free. If you listen carefully, you can hear the sound of the trees swaying in the wind, the chirping of birds, the lazy meowing of cats, the sound of a stream flowing with mountain water, and the beautiful sounds will heal your mind and body. The air and water are very clean. All water on the premises is mountain water and well water, and we conduct national inspections to check the water quality. We are proud of our mineral-rich water. You can enjoy cold natural water all year round without needing ice or a refrigerator. Please feel free to come and feel like you are staying at your parents' house, grandma's house, or a friend's house^^ Japanese people have no trouble with conversation, so please feel free to ask us anything you are concerned about or need help with. Foreigners use translation apps to communicate. ● There is a hot spring facility 15 minutes away by car [Hagi Abugawa Onsen] ● There is a roadside station convenience store 5 minutes away by car [Michi no Eki Asahi] ● We also provide transportation to and from the airport and other locations for a fee, so please feel free to contact us in advance.
