Mutsumikan offers traditional Japanese-style guest rooms featuring relaxing ambiance and tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Boasting natural hot spring baths in the Gero Onsen area, it is located just a 2-minute walk from JR Gero Station. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Mutsumikan has been selected as one of the Top 25 B&Bs and Inns in Japan by TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice Award 2018. Its guestrooms are fitted with wide windows, a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle. Guests can try on yukata robes and unwind in the seating area with a low table and cushions. Some rooms have a private bathroom with a natural hot spring bath. The family-run ryokan features friendly staff and personalised services. Local items can be purchased at the gift shop, while safety deposit boxes and free luggage storage are available. The property is a 30-minute drive from Hida-Osaka Waterfalls and Gandate-kyo Gorge. Hida Takayama area is a 60-minute drive away. A traditional Japanese multi-course dinner featuring Hida beef or pork is served to guests with a dinner-inclusive plan. The café lounge serves snacks and drinks.

Mutsumikan was founded in 1912,has been selected as one of the Top 25 B&Bs and Inns in Japan by TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice Hotel Award 2016,2018 and 2019. We are a 4th generation family-run Ryokan, one of the last family-owned Ryokan operated in Gero city. We look forward to welcoming you!
