Truly the best location for people who want to go sightseeing but who also want a calm and peaceful place to stay. Close to multiple grocery stores and restaurants. The owner (Hidekazu Watanabe) and family lives on the upper floors and can help with guest's requests. We often organize events and group dinners. It is the perfect opportunity to experience the Japanese culture first-hand and interact with people from all over the world. A suburban town with easy access to both Osaka and Kyoto, taking about 30 minutes from the train station to reach either city. Located in the northeastern part of Osaka Prefecture, Hirakata lies midway between Osaka and Kyoto. This makes it possible to enjoy day trips to some of Japan’s most famous tourist attractions in Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara, even on a whim. In front of Hirakata City Station, there are commercial facilities such as Hirakata T-SITE, a lifestyle-oriented department store centered around Tsutaya Bookstore. Nearby, you'll find the Kyo-Kaido, a historical street lined with charming townhouses and traditional Japanese cafes. Additionally, the rich rural landscape of the Hotani area, located in the southeastern part of the city, has been selected as one of the "100 Best Satoyama in Japan."
