Just to feel the breeze and nature - this log-cabin house is where you will be able to have a relaxed time. Ajiro is the small town of Atami and has so many yummy local restaurants and great activities such as fishing and water activities at the beach. My accommodation is in the villa area just 10 minutes away from Ajiro station. You will need to go up a hilly road but you will see a worthy view at the end! From my accommodation, you will be able to see a great ocean and Atami Central area in a far distance...even Mt.Fuji if the weather is clear :-) There's Wi-Fi available so you can work or have a movie night by watching Netflix :-) In the main bedroom, I have prepared a queen-sized bed. There is a cherry blossom tree just outside the bedroom so you will be able to enjoy "Ohanami" in the spring! Bathroom is one of recommendations of the listing: you can enjoy natural hot springs in the traditional Japanese bath. This accommodation is located in seaside holiday housing area surrounded by beautiful woods. You will be able to see the ocean in far distance and if you are lucky enough, you might be able to see a top of Mt.Fuji on your left! Ajiro station is about 5km away from my accommodation and you will need to ride up the hill all the way up. If you will be coming by train, I will suggest you to take a taxi from the station. (I think it would cost about 1,500 yen if you use a taxi.) You won't have troubles finding supermarkets and restaurants as there are so many of them around Ajiro Central. This area has so many great aspects; beach, trekking course, some sightseeing places such as Kinomiya shrine, Atami central and Hatsushima (island). I am sure that you won't get bored staying here! Please enjoy this relaxed local living which you wouldn't be able to do in a rushy, busy city life.
