From Nakatsugawa Station to Magome-juku is approximately 8 km uphill, a 2-hour 20-minute walk. From Magome-juku to the inn is approximately 2 km uphill, a 45-minute walk. From the inn to Tsumago-juku is approximately 6.5 km downhill, a 1-hour 45-minute walk. From Tsumago-juku to Nagiso Station is approximately 3.5 km flat, a 1-hour walk.
